Farmstead

Jaxon has been looking forward to the Farmstead for over a week now. We finally got to go because it stopped raining for a day or so. He LOVED it. He rode a mini horse, fed and pet animals, ran through a mini hay maze (since Ryan hates corn mazes and didn't want to do it.) He rode a tractor pulled cow, ate mini doughnuts, played on the toys and picked out a couple pumpkins. He had a blast. It is kind of hard picking out pumpkins with a 2 year old. He picked up every pumpkin he could carry and set it in our cart. I was putting back pumpkins all night. He thoroughly enjoyed it though and that is all that matters.

My Baby Boy is Not A Baby Any Longer

Jaxon is 2 years old! I cannot believe it. Daddy came home from work as usual at 7:45am and had made Jax Mickey Mouse pancakes and eggs. Then we had a fun filled day while Daddy slept. After Ryan woke up around 3pm, we opened presents. Ryan and I got him a T-ball set with bases, a baseball mitt and a real baseball. He was in heaven. So we played baseball for a while until Ryan and I got bored. We then were off to Chucky Cheese (where a kid can be a kid) and adults can act like kids as well. I got an instant headache with 100 kids running around. It was all worth it when I saw Jaxon's face when we walked inside. He played games, gave the creepy Chucky high fives and won lots of tickets (which we gave to a cute little girl because we didn't want to wait in a huge line to redeem our tickets for a Tootsie Roll or something lame. As you can tell, Jaxon will never go to Chucky Cheese or anyplace like it with his Mother ever again. We drove down the road to eat pizza at Flying Pie. After pizza we went to the park to meet all his friends. They played on the toys, ate baseball cupcakes and icecream, sang to Jaxon, watched him open presents and then played some more. They had a great time. I think Jaxon had the greatest birthday a 2 year old could have.
