Big Boy Bed

Ryan and I just finished Jaxon's big boy room. It is all baseball stuff. Brenda gave Jaxon a Braves baseball bedding for Christmas. So Ryan was so excited to have a baseball room in our house, even though it isn't for him. Jaxon spent his first night in his new BIG BOY BED. He fell asleep right away. He stayed asleep until 7am. I heard him pounding on his door and yelling, "Mama." He is growing up way too fast.

4th of July

I love the Fourth of July. It is one of my favorite holidays. We drove our new Cadillac convertible to the famous Melba parade. All of the kids loved the sweet cars, floats and espacially the horses. They recieved too much candy and was generous enough to share with the adults. Then back to my parent's house for a bbq. After naps we went to Hilary and Andy's for another bbq with some of their friends. We then drove to the Bodily's for fireworks with all the kids. Jaxon loved throwing the snaps and then stomping on them. He wasn't even afraid of the louder fireworks. While we were driving to the Thueson's house to watch the city fireworks, Jaxon was getting really tired because he only napped for 45 minutes. He was screaming for his "mimi" (binkie). I forgot it and so we stopped by the only store open, which was Walgreens. They didn't have the binkie that he is used to, but i bought it anyways. He didn't want to have anything to do with that stinkin' mimi. So we just took him home and he fell asleep right away. So even though we missed the big fireworks, we still had a great 4th of July.
